The Idol Guy, Top 16: Work Smarter, not Harder
The theme this week was the 80s, and all the embarrassments of that notable decade. Even the producers chimed in, bringing back Blake Lewis for a performance that could be considered embarrassing. Now, did the contestants join in this orgy of things we'd rather not remember? Thankfully, it wasn't. We were spared the strange song choices of the top 20, although it was replaced by traces of over-ambition. Overall, though, both performance nights were quite enjoyable. It's a welcome change from
